Une idée de série StarCraft fut autrefois proposée à Blizzard
Joseph Mallozzi, scénariste et producteur ayant notamment officié sur plusieurs séries Stargate, a récemment indiqué lors d'une interview auprès du podcast Dial the Gate avoir autrefois proposé une série StarCraft à Blizzard. Comme nous le savons aujourd'hui, cette idée n'a jamais abouti, comme de nombreux autres projets de la licence. Auriez-vous aimé suivre l'histoire des Terrans, des Protoss et des Zergs de cette façon ?
“I had been working on an adaptation of a comic book; and it has been temporarily shelved; but I had hopes that it would continue. Honestly, in this industry, you are juggling so many projects that more often than not, they end up in your project graveyard, which is kinda sad.
But what I will do is I will tell you if a project is dead. Then I will definitely tell you. There is just so many that come to mind. I pitched a StarCraft TV Series, and I remember I sat down and I watched like 16 hours of gameplay and basically got the story down and made the pitch, and it didn’t go anywhere; and I was incredibly bummed.“
